Grandmaster Bernd Höhle is actively dedicated since 1980 to martial arts and was trained by many prominent Grandmasters in Asia, USA und Europe. He also was astudent of Grandmaster Dr. Lee, Grandmaster Prof. Giu Ping and Grandmaster Dr. Chiu Chi Ling. His hobby became his calling and since the beginning of the nineties he became active as a professional instructor. The list of his success in martial arts as well as his honours and awards is very long. Among other martial arts he is also a Master in Shaolin Lohan Kung Fu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Bujutsu, Thai Boxing, Kick Boxing and Filipino Martial Arts and a specialist and instructor for close combat and personal protection. Numerous publications in martial arts magazines, books and television performances have demonstrated his sports career.

Bernd is the founder of Martial Arts Concepts, listed in the Hall of Fame and was granted with an Acadamy Awards of Martial Arts. He is a Headmaster of the Martial Arts Association International. This organization exists since 1964, it is represented in more than 100 countries. Bernd also is a world champion in break tests a nd constituted three world records listed in the Guinness Book of Records. He starred in film(movie) productions as an actor and a stuntman and represents various martial arts organisations world wide that have granted him with honours, distincions, awards and titles. The White House in Washington granted Bernd Höhle with the "Presidents Golds Award". The Presidents Council on Physical Fitness und Sports under the guidance of US-Präsident George W. Bush awarded this year three German martial artists, Bernd Höhle with the Presidents Gold Medal, Grand Master Dr. Karl Wagner and Grand Master Jörg Digulla with the Presidents Silver Medal. The Honour Certificate was granted by the US-Ministry of Sports and shows the signature of US-Präsident George W. Bush. Bernd has been granted as the first German martial artist with this honour for his accomplishment and performance. At the same time he got accepted in the circle of the world wide active instructors of the "President's Challenge Program" of the White House.

Bernd got nominated as an ambassador of the Christ-Mission Martial Arts Alliance, is representative of the Koreja Do Christian Martial Arts Federation, former member of the executive board of the Christian Sokeship Federation and has founded the Christian Martial Arts Association. In addition he has been titled with the honour of the American Freedom University.

Bernd Höhle:

"God is love! The faith in Jesus is something very personal to me. The question about what God, Jesus means to me I cannot put into words which I would not even be able to master. Faith is the energy and the basis of my life, I could not do without it. God is the epitome of the very love of the heart. I had quite a few very profound impressing "encounters with God" that changed my whole life in a very positive way. Since then I always perceive again and again in any small and any big conflicts and any crisis in my life how God stands by me and gives me the power and the love to overcome.

There is a great poem of Margaret Fishback Powers and no other one hits the point on my first encounters with God:

Footprints Spuren im Sand

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with theLORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.

For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times
along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and
he questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that
during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most
you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
